I was finally able to get on FT this morning! I hope the rest of you have success, too.

I didn't try Farmtown last night after hearing about all your problems getting in. Some others did get in because I got some messages as well as notices that people worked my farm.

Anyway, my whole farm will need harvesting and plowing this evening so 'Party at Blue's Farm aka SC Minnie'! Should be on after 8pm.

Oh, Jill, where have you been?? The marketplace has always been filled with whiny beggars! It's just that now they are more ignorant and become rude when you try to tell them that whining just isn't the best way to get work.

I was in and out of Farmtown - kept getting booted.

You do know that you can send those pigs to your neighbors, right? Maybe send them back to the people who sent them to you.....

I always just stand off quietly to the side of the Marketplace. Say Hi to people and just ignore the beggers. I seem to get hired quite a bit and before them! I also look for the quiet ones when I am hiring.

I get annoyed with the ones that have jobs and come in and want to play games. I had a few yesterday that were standing way off to the back or side and said "first one to come to me gets it" and then wanted several people so they kept repeating it. I told one that was really obnoxious that I wasn't there to play games and only wanted serious farmers looking for a good workers--I was immediately hired by someone else. I have also had several that come in and say if you want a job to go to their farm????? Why?? Hire me here and then I will go!

Had a cute hiring this morning. A gal entered the marketplace and just said "Marco". Everyone was yelling and begging and didn't notice her but I reponded with "Polo!" and got hired! She had a beautiful farm and is on my buddy list now.

I may try that next time!


(but I am NOT addicted to this stupid game. . . )

I have had that happen several times. I like to go in and just stand quietly and see who is begging and who isn't I have been hired several times like that. The last time I then hired the guy that hired me to do my farm.

I usually hire the quiet ones. I don't mind people chatting or once in a while saying something to let you know they are still there, but I can't stand the ones that beg and whine Those ones just go on my ignore list.

No thanks! We have plenty! Along with sending them to Mona we usually ended up sending each other nothing but pigs as well.

I am so glad I was able to get on today FINALLY!!! I was lucky enough to have hired a friend to harvest & plow before the Great Farm Town Outage.

I just replanted my farm about an hour ago. I think I need to redesign my whole farm once these crops are done. I'll be checking out all my neighbors farms for ideas. You guys are all so creative!!

I have also had several that come in and say if you want a job to go to their farm????? Why?? Hire me here and then I will go!

People do this to clear out the marketplace so that they are more likely to get hired themselves. If you leave and go somewhere else, odds are that you won't come back to the same room when returning to the marketplace.

I can't imagine that this tactic really works since the room fills up very quickly again.

People are weird!
