Farm to Table restaurant recommendations?

Am considering Slate for a nice dinner with my sig o but we like new American, sort of fancy organic type places if that makes sense. We loved the Ravenous Pig so I am looking for something in that vein we haven't tried yet. Any suggestions? (Doesn't have to be strictly organic, just trying to explain my partner's usual dining preferences which are somewhere between "Whole Foods" and "I can't believe I ate the WHOLE pizza")
