FAQ's for DVC's?

Where do I find FAQ threads for DVC's? I'm having a tough time with the search function and thought someone here will be able to help.

What kind of questions do you have? Are you asking about the resorts themselves, how DVC works, the cost...What? It's best to ask your more specific questions here so you get the answers you are seeking.

I have to agree with OP.

I've got a friend with the itch to buy DVC, and I can't seem to find a pros and cons for each resort thread on the DIS to help them decide which resort would be best for her family.

Would a pros and cons of each resort thread be helpful?

Where is the best place to review photo's of each resort? I know the "regular" resorts each have FAQ threads with tons of pictures and basic info... how about DVC's?

If you have any specific questions, please ask. There are lots of experienced DVCers eager to help.

There are LOTS of threads with the information you will want and "search" will bring many of those up for review, but feel free to ask. In some cases, past threads may be outdated and many things will have changed since some comments have been posted. This is especially true with comments regarding villa conditions which are in a constant state of rehabilitaion. Complaints about a villa from 2 years ago - or even 2 weeks ago - may no longer be valid since all DVC resorts are being maintained on a prescribed schedule.

Just remember that one persons "pro" could be another person's "con". As in everything, we all have different things that "turn our crank", so asking what things you are most interested in here is the best way to get the information you seek.

Plus the beauty of DVC is that your not locked into only staying at your home resort. You have many options from which to choose whether staying at WDW, Disneyland Paris, or California or whatever vacation mood you happen to be in at the time.
