Hi Sam

Just wanted to check a point that has been worrying me with regard to us UK people getting married in the US.

Basically what I wanted to know was whether we will be legally married in the UK when we get home or do we have to go to a registry office and do the whole ceremony thing again???

Would appreciate your view if you don't mind.

Sorry Lisa I've been a bit busy getting everything ready fo rmy journey - I fly in just over 48 hours !!

Anyway in answer to your question - you will be legally married and will not have to get married again here. However the marriage will not be registered in the UK i.e. it will not show up at Somerset House, and to the best of my knowledge there's nothing you can do about that.

Yeah it is a relief to know isn't it Lisa - I wondered about that myself but one of the other mods on the UK boards got married in WDW and she told me all the info.
