First time posting here and looking for some advice. Going to DW next week and going to HS with 3 dc ages 11, 7 and 4. I know Fantasmic is not to be missed. Easywdw crowd calendar says crowds will be at 3 and HS is recommended that day. How early would we need to arrive at the theater for the show to get decent seats? And is it a line we wait in or can we just go in and sit and wait? There's only one show the day we're going and it starts at 7. thank you for any advice

If it's truly a 3, 30 minutes prior should be good.

That said, if it's the only show of the evening, I would get there closer to 45 minutes if you want a seat near the center of the theatre.

You will be able to get seated regardless, even if you walk up 5 minutes before showtime.

There can be a line. I've seen them just open up the theatre 45-60 minutes beforehand if it's ready. If they open early, there might even be a 10 minute pre-show

Try to get FPs for it as your 4th or 5th FP of the day. FP has reserved seating on the left side of the amphitheater.

If you can't get FPs, plan to enter the Standby area 60 minutes before Fantasmic begins. Standby sits on the right side of the amphitheater and when it is filled, late/waiting Standby guests then wait to fill in the FP area a few minutes before Fantasmic.

With crowd levels low next week.. (we'll be there too!) ..you shouldn't have any trouble getting decent seats anytime. If you want GOOD seats, yeah 30-45 mins early if you don't get the FP+s for it.
