hey after some information is it true that there expanding fantasyland and mickys toon town fair is going to be closed forever

Yes, unless they suddenly go back on their plans. Toontown is not expected to close any time before the New Year so if you are going before then you will have one last swoop around it. Some of the features and attractions are being kept and moved to other parts of the park, like the Barnstormer for example, but it is likely to be re-themed.

If you see a ticker (countdown in the signature) that you like, click on it. You can click on mine if you like. It will take you to a site where you put in your holiday dates and can add a line of text if you like. It then guides you through as you choose a ticker and a slider. Once you have done this you will be given 3 codes. Choose the URL code, select it and copy it. Keep the page open and go to your DIS profile (on your username at the top right of the screen). In your profile on the left of the page you click on Edit your Signature. Paste the URL code into your signature. To the right, beneath this is an option to preview your signature. Click it and make sure your ticker is displayed. If you cant see it, you may have copied the wrong code in which case you would need to go back to the page where you got your ticker code. Shout if you get stuck.

That is the plan. Big outcry earlier this year. There has been a recent rumour of relocating them instead, but I don't know the sources of this rumour so I disregarded it at the time. I haven't heard anything further about that recently so I can't comment.

that is just heartbreaking! I really hope that they do re-locate, it would be a tragedy otherwise

I know. Despite this being a surprise trip, I did warn DD that Toontown won't be there next year. I didn't know if they would still be there for our October trip at the time they announced it, so I decided to come clean on that. At least I can let her have a formal last flit about. She just doesn't know it I would have been really sad if they were gone before Autumn though, which is what they were suggesting when they first announce the plans.

This year's October? It's pretty much a given. I think they are just going to leave it intact for Christmas and New Year. The latest news was early 2011. I doubt they would pull it forward. They have pushed it back several times. Here's hoping.

You can never tell what Disney is going to do. It makes sense to keep the houses and relocate them. But then what seems logical isn't always Disney's logic. They can't leave them there with the expansion as the Toontown space is accounted for, but it will be nice if they move them so we can still visit them - even if it is separate from the new meet and greet area.
