Fantasyland closed during Wishes?

I read somewhere that Fantasyland closes during Wishes. Does anyone know anything about this? If so, how far ahead of time do they close? I'm going in December, on a night with Spectro at 6:00 and Wishes at 7:00. Since I've seen Spectro enough times, I was planning to use that time to do some of the Fantasyland rides. But will they be closing down since Wishes starts not long after Spectro? When do they close, and is it all or just some (which ones) of the rides?

They dont close it down completely. The just close off the area directly around the castle, and rearrange the line for mickeys philharmagic, etc. None of the attractions were closed.

We thought they did this b/c they have to spray off the buildings after the fireworks..to prevent fires from starting. Because when we walked by there right after wishes the ground was all wet. So I guess they are just keeping you from getting soaked!!!

No worries though, your plan is still a go!! You just cant walk along those pathways around the castle!
