Hi,
Fantasy Land breakfasts are free. I had one last year and I booked with disney direct. I had to put it in writing and they added it to my booking free of charge. I would let whoever you are travelling with straight away so you are gauranteed to get it. :wave2:

Yes it is free. If you've booked direct with Disney you can send them a fax requesting the breakfast. Alternatively you can ask if there are any available when you check in at the hotel.

You get to the park an hour before official opening time and you can either ride the train round to the restaurant or you can walk. Personally I recommend that you walk as the train sits in the station for ages waiting for people. The walk is lovely as there is hardly anybody else about and also you are finished your breakfast much earlier, we were there about 20 mins before the train turned up, therefore you can take full advantage of the rides which open early.

They are well worth booking, we made our reservation for the Fantasyland Breakfast at the time of booking. Where you eat I think depends on which hotel you are staying at and I don't think they are available with the non Disney hotels (Explorer, Movenpick etc.,) or they weren't when we went in July. I remember we finished up our breakfast at 8:45 and the rides in Fantasyland were immediately available to us, no queues!

We stayed at the Santa Fe and our breakfast was at Au Chateau de la Marionnette.

we're staying at Santa Fe.. i just emailed the company we booked with to see fi we could book through them... otherwise i'll have to wait till we get there i guess..

thanks for the advice.

heard back from the company... they said i can book the character breakfast with them but not the fantasyland one... i'd have to book that with disney...is there a way of just booking this in advance? or am i gonna have to wait till i get there?

oki... found this on the dlp site..

You must mention when you would like to take your breakfast in Disneyland® Park at the time of booking or
when checking in (subject to availability).

guess i'll have to wait till then... blah...

We booked direct with Disney and I dont think there was an option to request the Fantasyland breakfast at the time of booking. On arrival I asked if it was available and we were give a time slot for saturday morning. It didn't seem to be that busy but I'm not sure it would have been offered if I hadn't asked.

Hi,
I was in the same boat - we wanted to book the Fantasyland b/fast and wasn't sure how to do it!
All I did was email Disney on the 'contact us' part of the official website, and ask to be booked in on the day we wanted. It was as easy as that - they emailed back to confirm, and sent me a new confirmation letter through email that had the changes made to it. We're staying at Sequoia Lodge, but I don't think that matters - they all have the fanstasyland option!
cheers
Katey.

Another nice thing . . . if you walk instead of taking the train, you have a great photo op at the Castle, since there's barely anybody there and you can get a shot of just the people you want and not random crowds walking by.
