We stayed in June in 1 of the townhouses booked directly with the owner. Our townhouse was FINE we was across the street from clubhouse an main pool. It's an older complex prolly built as apartments in the 70's

I read reports of thin mattresses an pillows but our condo had very comfy bed an pillows. Signs of remodling going on in some of the areas but not near our townhouse it was clear the remodling had been going on for awhile and the dumpsters had been there awhile with wet carpets hanging out of them an debri in parking lot but it could not be seen from our townhouse.

Actually we found condo for Oct an Dec in windsor hills just as cheap or cheaper than we paid in June at Fantasy World. The ppl we booked with at Windor Hills has a strict Saturday to Saturday policy tho an sometimes we need a week an a half. So we could possibly book the Fantasy world home again.

1 thing I really liked at Fantasy World was a small pool just a few steps out the back door just as close as my private pool at home. It was small but did go up to like 8 feet deep an was never crowded. I did not care for pool at Winsor Hills bigger newer yes but no water over my head.

Also from our townhouse which was on an end we could walk to Olive Garden out on hwy 192 in less than a minute an there is an Arbys right next to Olive Garden we had good luck with both of those. TGIFridays across the hwy was NASTY only bad TGIFridays I ever been in.


OHHHHHHHH a biggie for some staying at Fantasy World is the bathrooms 1 bath is in laundry room on 1st floor it only has a VERY VERY tiny shower no tub...think bathroom stall size reg not handicapped it smaller than a bathroom stall in other words useless. The sink in that bathroom has no storage it is a free standing sink mounted to wall with only storage being at the back of the sink...it was nice not to have to climb steps everytime we had to pee tho an to have a place to wash hands after but other than that it was not much good. The washer an dryer was a stacked set full size but with dryer on top of washer it does make loading washer a bit harder.

The upstairs bathroom was a good size tub/shower combo. The main reason dh an I rented a 2bed/2bath was so we could both shower at same time if we chose to as it was only the 2 of us staying there. I put my stuff in 2nd bed n use 2nd bath as a rule so we can get ready at same time without falling over each other.

If having 2 showers is important to you then you can do just as well at many other locations.
