I know they use it for weddings sometimes. I guess you could just sit in there if you wanted to.

As noted, it's used for special occasions. I believe it was originally planned to the be the piano bar, but it's location is difficult to find, and that probably didn't work well for what they hoped to be an active area.

They use that space for the interdenominational services on Sundays the ship is cruising as well.

They use it for toddler sessions sometimes. They also use it for the non-denominational, passenger-led religious services on Sunday mornings. Other that than, it is just a great little quiet spot with a great view. You have to use the right elevator or stair to get up there though.

Friends of Bill West will often meet there. The staff also use it for staff only event. (We got kicked out one night because we were up there playing code words).

Anchors, you're right it's used for services on Sundays. We've seen crew there from time to time, and they've been cleaning up or preparing for some special event. But we go there at least twice on each cruise for q quiet, well-kept-secret hideaway to watch the activity on the ship, and relax and read in seclusion. It was never designed (at least not announced) as a particular place to appear on the schedule, just as a room available for booking for private events. Hard to find, usually empty, a wonderful find. Check it out!

I had a private playdate overthere with Chip and Dale in November and March. If an 'event' is going on they put a sign 'private function' on the outside.
The first time there was only one bigger table and chairs set-up (like for a meeting), the second time the room was FULL of chairs lined up facing the piano like it would be for a concert.

There is also a set of stairs on that deck too that will take you up.
