supercruiser420 - Did they happen to have the Apple Black Martini? I miss that one. My last cruise (Magic) it was not on the menu. A bartender tried to improvise, but it just wasn't the same.

I think the secret to that drink was the way it was shaken?

I've tried myself to find the recipe but the results always show other drinks.

What is FE?

FE means "fish extender". Outside the cabins on the ships is a metal basket-type of receptacle. On the two classic ships, they were in the shape of fish. It is used for messages from Guest Services, DCL, etc. People started hanging what is called "fish extenders" on them. They have pockets in which people leave little gifts. The members of a cruise meet thread usually organize those who want to participate. Then the members get a list of the cabins and they deliver little goodies. You can do a search on the forum for "fish extender" and get more detailed info.

So any tips on how to get notifications of when you guys reply??? I try to check back often, but I find sometimes a month will go by and there is stuff I have missed. I get emails when someone replies to a thread I was originally in but that's it. Just can't figure this part of DIS out.

McCuddenFam - For individual threads, you can go to THREAD TOOLS (from that thread's page), then SUBSCRIBE to this thread, then choose INSTANT EMAIL NOTIFICATION.

To set your Dis profile to where you are instantly notified by email when there are new posts to ANY thread to which you have posted, go to your USER CP, then SETTINGS & OPTIONS, then EDIT OPTIONS. In the section where it says MESSAGING & NOTIFICATION, look for DEFAULT THREAD SUBSCRIPTION MODE and select INSTANT EMAIL NOTIFICATION from the drop-down box. You will then be notified by email of any new posts. However, you usually need to visit the Dis after receiving a post notice (which usually includes the text of that post) to be notified of any subsequent posts.

So this is our 3rd Disney cruise and did not know about this meet thing before. How do I get a list of people who are in the FE? How do I get involved in the FE? If I do the FE do I give a gift each night to all people? How do I get a notification of any events planned with the forum people? It all seems so overwhelming right now. Super excited about the cruise! each one gets better!!

Visit our cruise website HERE. Click the various links. You can view a list of our cruisers (organized by stateroom number and whether participating in the FE or not) who have chosen to be included on the list, sign up to add your info to the cruiser list, and see photos, videos and other info, plus a list of links to related sites.

I don't think anyone has yet volunteered to officially organize an FE yet, but those who have expressed interest in participating are listed as such on the website. I'm not volunteering because I do not participate in the FE.

fellow Fabulous Fantasy Fiesta-goers....
my 17 y.o. DD, Victoria, is having surgery tomorrow. Through 6 months of nausea, dabilitating pain, and multiple medical procedures, we have finally determined that her gall bladder aint working and must come out.
Pixie dust welcomed! We're hoping that this finally puts an end to the agony she has been in this year, and puts her in good standing to be healthy for the cruise!

I apologize if this question has been raised previously - Does anyone know if our cruise is on Fantasy's Itinerary B, which should have a double dip at Castaway Cay. However, when I select the itinerary tab on DCL's website, it does not show the double dip. Please help.

Also, to whomever is gracious enough to organize the FE's, please add us to the list.

Nevermind my earlier question. I figured out that the itinerary B with the double dip was for the Magic not the Fantasy. Sorry for the confusion.
