Hope everybody that is not staying in the parks for a day or 2 made it home safely. We had such a great week, and some of the pixie dusting we received was beyond what I had hoped for.
I hate that we didn't make it to any of the meets! DD got motion sick for the first time ever, and the patch gave her severely blurred vision. If it isn't 1 thing, it's another. Anyway, the few scheduled meet times I seemed to be taking care of her, or at the disposal of the cruise staff for our pixie dusting.
Ahhh, the pixie dust...there was much spread around, but here's my favorite:
Upon boarding I stopped by guest services to take care of my checklist (extra keys for the extra rooms, tips, tastings, etc) I figured...1 stop will do me for the week. I asked Helen(who was AWESOME!!) about DD graduation. Georgia Home Educators Association graduation was Friday while we were at CC...obviously we missed that. Explained her situation with the military and then getting sick, etc. Asked if there was any way to have the captain present her with her diploma. She said she would email the captain's assistant and get back to me. Since I never miss an opportunity, I spoke with Captain Marco at the
Castaway Club reception Sunday morning. He said it would be his honor!!! I relayed the message to Helen in guest services. After playing phone tag with Libo (Captain's assistant) for a few days (I didn't realize that he was calling wave phone #1 and I was calling #2-didn't know there was a difference...DUH!) we got it set up. Libo set up the ceremony for us in Outlook on Thursday. Not only did the Captain come, but ALL the senior officers, AND Mickey!!! Can't wait to post a picture. I'm still trying to figure out the CD we bought. Ugh!!
