Fantasy Testing a Character Breakfast This Week

Yes, it was ticketed, no charge, but pick up at Port Adventures desk on embarkation day. Quite a line, I couldn't tell if it was just for the ticket pickup, or also for people booking excursions.
First day navigator said to pick up tickets between 11:30am and 3:00pm for these three events:
  • Princess Gathering
  • Princess Anna & Queen Elsa
  • Disney Junior Character Breakfast
Thanks for the info! Did you go to the breakfast? What did you think?

We loved the character breakfast on the Magic when they still offered it. So this would be a nice change as well to bring it back. Especially something for kids who are a little bit younger.

I didn't see an update anywhere else, but just got off the Fantasy yesterday, and the Disney Junior Breakfast is no longer being offered. Our head waiter let us know they were sifting through the feedback to see whether it will return.

Oh no. :( Thanks for the update.

It was available on the Fantasy last week. Here was the menu:

LSUfan4444.... Thanks so much for posting! We have a young nephew and niece who will love this!

Was everyone who was interested in the breakfast able to get tickets, and did they all fit into one dining room?

The dining room was certainly far from full. My guess would be MAYBE 30% of the restaurant was full but they can't possibly sit every seat and expect the characters to make the rounds during one meal so I am not sure how many tickets were issued.

If it is a priority, my advice would be to take care of this first thing when you get on. Even if you have pre-registered your child for Kids Clubs online before your cruise, you still have to get them registered once you arrive. Once you get checked in for the cruise they will show you where you can do this on the other side of the terminal. Don't do it there...just wait till you get on the boat. There will be virtually no line.

What I would do is right after you get on board head up and register for the princess gathering, anna and elsa meet & greet and get tickets to the character breakfast. Then, walk down the hall and get all checked in for the Kids Clubs. Then, you can go downstairs and register for any mixology or tasting you might want. Lastly, go to the main dining room for lunch (skip Cabanas). It's way too crowded and way too hot up there with so many people and the door basically staying open the entire time.

If your lugging bags, don't worry the staff at the dining room will take your bags for you while you eat.

Thanks for the update! Hoping this will still be happening in January for our cruise!

they used to do it on all 7 night cruises

On the Magic and the Wonder, but not the Fantasy because the dining rooms are too big and the tables are so close together -- makes it difficult for the characters to get around to all.

LSUfan...do you know if this was offered just once during the 7 days?

Thanks!
