Fantasy split stays!

We have our 4th split stay coming up later this month.
Split #1: 1 night POR royal room, 6 nights BLT
Split #2: 6 nights BCV, 6 nights BLT
Split #3: 2 nights CSR, 6 nights BCV, 3 nights AKV Jambo (we decided to be daring and tried a 3 way split)
Split #4: (upcoming) 4 nights BWI, 4 nights BLT, 1 night Beach Club

All villa stays were DVC point rentals. This will be our first time staying on the hotel side of the resorts with BWI and BC - still have my DVC point rental in the middle at BLT. This one wasn’t supposed to be 3 resorts, but we ended up adding an extra night and of course couldn’t extend the BLT reservation.

We are talking about trying for our dream split next year - Poly and Beach Club! But BCV and BLT was a pretty fantastic split as well.

How did you feel about the 3 way split and over what period off time was it?

We loved it! It was over 11 nights, but we put a longer stay (6 nights) in the middle bookended by shorter stays. We thought it was great for experiencing 3 resorts and had no issues with Disney handling our luggage transfers. This time our 3 way split is over 9 nights, so we’ll see how that goes.

1st place favorite split is BWV or BCV and BLT. Walk to 3 parks. Can't be beat. Worth the money.
2nd best is BWV or BCV and Poly.

We Uber/Lyft over to the second resort. Minnie won't take luggage the times we tired. Or....they take but you put on your lap as car seats are taking up the room. (I'm annoyed about that but Uber/Lyft fine).

We loooove split stay trips! Favorite has been 1BR Savannah View at AK (Kidani) and then over to Water View at Yacht Club (our very favorite resort!).
I think as long as you can stay 2 nights, split stay is worth it. I've done a few one night stays just for fun and they feel too rushed. Hope you have a great time!

First time we did Poly/BC. Five nights each. It was the best of both worlds. I wasn't a huge fan of the Poly but the BC lived up to all of my expectations.

I recently did a POFQ 2 nights followed by BWV for 7 nights on rented points. Two nights wasn't enough for me to enjoy POFQ fully. But what I did get to see of it I really enjoyed. DD12 loved it and wants to stay there next time for the entire trip.

My dream would be a suite at CR CL TPV for 5 nights followed by a suite in the BC with CL (although I believe all suites come with CL). I would never pay those prices myself so it really is just a dream. I MAY splurge for a CR TPV one day for maybe 1-2 nights but nothing more.

I’ve done Pop/CSR for many of my trips, but also CSR/Poly & CSR/AKL.
My dream split would be Poly/Beach Club or Yacht Club—I’d love to be able to walk to Epcot!

I haven't done a split stay (I do quite like to settle into one place and relax), buut, on a long enough trip, I like the idea of some kind of split between: -

CR theme park view + BW garden suite + SSR (post rehab)

:thumbsup2:thumbsup2

I like settling in, so I can't decide how I'd feel about a split. I think ideally I'd want at least 4 nights in each place if I did.

Dream would be a split between a monorail resort and an Epcot resort - probably Poly and YC or BC.

Dream split stay coming up: AOA Cars Suite (2 nites), YC Water View Club Level (6 nites), GF RPC (6 nites). It has been in the planning stage for 2.5 years - my big splurge with kids and grandkids! So excited!
