We were in that sailing...they thought they were trying to flee from Cuba, not trying to get to Cuba. It was kind of neat to see. Glad I didn't know they were criminals
They were only onboard for about two hours kept in the medical facility until we met up with the Coast Guard.

Disney (and all the other cruise lines) have procedures for handling problematic people (yes, including passengers) that keep them away from the rest of the passengers.
