Fantasy - Mar 21, 2015 Eastern Caribbean (St Thomas)

We have booked our trip, but have not received a stateroom number yet. This is our first cruise, there are three of us, two adults and one child. Do all family members typically participate in FE or just children?
Hi WattsFantasy,
Typically everyone participates. Gifts galore! Some gifts will be for your family as s whole and some for individuals...kids and adults:) It's a fun component to the cruise:)

So I am seriously considering booking this cruise.its my birthday week Is it too late to join the FE?

Absolutely not too late!! Sign up using the instructions in one of the posts above!!

Hello fellow cruisers!

Myself and Cruisesinflipflops are gathering info for all of those interested in participating in the fish extender group aboard the Disney Fantasy on March 21st through the 28th!

Please message me your info if you'd like to be added to the list; stateroom number, number of participants (names are optional), ages, and gender of each participant.

Our cut off date for joining is 30 days prior to setting sail. This will ensure our ability to organize groups and get finalized lists out to all participants. This also gives ample time for those participating to make or buy the right amount of gifts. Again, send me a message or reply here if you and your family would like to participate! :)

Thank you!!

HELLO!! I would LOVE to join the group! We just this minute booked our cruise and I am over the moon excited!! We took our first cruise on the Dream last April and were part of a FE group. It was wonderful to give gifts and find surprises waiting for us when we returned to our rooms. It is myself, DH, DS(12), and DD(10). Would also love to know if anyone has kids of similar ages so very excited, I have literally been jumping up and down with glee!

Welcome Tommcbride! Message me your stateroom number and I'll add you to the list!

Well, therein lies a slight problem. We have not yet been assigned a room. We are listed as VGT-because we booked last minute. The second I am assigned a room, I will let you know. It is a little scary not knowing where we will be, but I know for sure we have a guaranteed ocean view with a balcony. There might be a giant lifeboat blocking that view, but hey, beggars can't be choosers!
If you could list me as room TBD, that would be great.

We are:
Lisa-Mom
Tom-Dad
Ethan-DS 12
Julia-DD 10

I am ready to get started on the other cabins, so if you could send me the list, that would be great!

Thank you,
Lisa McBride

Lisa McBride I've added your family to the list! Just let us know when you have your room assigned. As soon as the group reaches 10 families we will email you the details for your group. There's currently 6 families. We are planning a brief meet and greet on embarkation day on Deck 11 at the bottom of the Mickey Slide at 4:30pm. This is the same deck as the Sail Away party so people can check in with us then join the party. We wanted to give everyone a chance to confirm their rooms as there may be changes at the port.
Happy Cruising!

If we don't reach 10 families at the 30 day mark, will it just be a smaller group? We are starting our family FE gifts. So very excited!

Hello! Count us in for this sailing! We are so excited to be cruising again!!! :jumping1:

I am almost positive that we will join in the on the FE. Is it one big group or are we dividing into smaller groups? The answer will help me to figure out what we would do this time and to convince my DH. :love2:

Our group:
4 Adults :earsgirl::earsboy::earsgirl::earsgirl:
DD 13 princess:
DD 9 princess:

Our neighbors are also booking this sailing so I will find out if they want to participate. What is the deadline to let you know???

SUPER EXCITED!!!!

Hello and welcome!! Our FE is in groups of 10 cabins. You can email me your information when you decide! sehopkins@stkate.edu

40 days and counting!!

haven't seen too much about the character breakfasts...just the character tea for an added cost.

We've only done the Dream, but will be on the Fantasy for this trip. Based on the WDW site, I'd say the two were very similar... :)

(well it won't let me post a link yet as I'm new here so make this work yourself... :) )

www dot wdwinfo dot com/disney-cruise-line/dream-fantasy-deck-plan.htm

There is no character breakfast on the Fantasy. PP is correct that there is a character tea that you can pay for. The character breakfast is only on the classic ships (7 nights or longer).

The 2 ships are very similar but also a little different. A lot of lessons were learned from the Dream that make the Fantasy even better. One of the main "upgrades" is the additional water areas on the Fantasy. It helps to spread people out a but. The Dream and Fantasy are about twice the size of the classic ships and the pool areas on the Dream needed more to help people not have to all converge in one spot.

The Fantasy has the Muppets game where the Dream just has the Detective game (sorry not sure the exact names). BBB on the Fantasy. So overall the same but the improved water areas are great!

What is your party make up? Sorry if you posted before I did not see it. Kids no kids? Kids ages?

How many first time cruisers???
How many have sailed on the Fantasy before???
Silver Castaway?
Gold Castaway?
Platinum Castaway?

About us...this will be cruise 16 for me and 15 for DH and DDs so we are Platinum. We have been on the Fantasy twice, once for a preview cruise (3 night March 2012) and a regular week long September 2012.

Is it too early to start packing?!?!
