So we are once again talking about another trip....seems we have this talk every 3-4 months:lmao: but we are really confused about fantasy land and the expansion that is going on. What will remain up and running, what is closed and how bad is it with all the construction?

BTW, we are thinking of dropping by for a day this october while we are in Orlando for a non disney trip :scared1: I know, the horror! Who goes to Orlando on a non disney trip??? LOL But we would like to schedule a family trip in 2011 for an on resort stay but like I said, we are concerned that our youngest DD4 will be sad and depressed if her favorite things are gone!

Thank you!

Thank you!

Ariel's Grotto is closed already, but don't expect much else to be "down" at all in Fantasyland or Toontown until sometime in 2011.

Here's the huge THREAD that explains it all.

Problem is, it has become so HUGE, I don't see how it can be very helpful for individual questions anymore.

Thank you, Robo! :thumbsup2

I will start digging!

A few of the rides have "painted, sheeting" areas going on now, for example Peter Pan. They are not shutting them down just refurnishing.

We will be there in a little over 1 week - very much hoping we can still see Ariel somewhere. She is the only one my DD specially requested to see. Anyone know where she's been greeting at?

She is greeting guests at the covered porch of the "Adventureland Veranda," which is just inside Adventureland from the Hub.

That is next door to Aloha Isle, the Dole Whip counter.

It's kept pretty much up to date on the first page by the OP and individual questions do get answered as they're added, as so many people are following the thread.
