Hi Everyone!!
My family booked our trip yesterday!!! This will be a 1st Disney Cruise for all of us....my Mom has been on 2 other cruises but otherwise the rest of us are new to this!! We are beyond excited! Attending will be myself and my two sons (ages 12 and 10), my brother and sister-in-law and their son (age 9) and my Mom! We are from Wisconsin so it will be wonderful to escape the frigid temps of winter for some warm sunny beaches! This cruise will be the boys' X-Mas gifts so it is going to be incredibly hard to keep it a secret for the next 7 months! They have NEVER seen the ocean before nor have they been to Disney so this is going to be an out-of-this-world experience for them! I can't wait to see their facial expressions I would love to participate in the Fish Extenders. I look forward to meeting all of you.

Hi all! We just booked our first Disney Cruise! On the Fantasy, departing Jan 31. I am new to all of this, so even your acronyms are foreign to me!

Any great links to help me plan you can share? Family of 5, kids ages 6, 10 and 13!

I'd love any advice/tips you can share!

Hi everyone! My husband and I (Marybeth) will be on this sailing. We booked while onboard last year, this will be our 8th year in a row cruising during the superbowl, we love it!
This will be our 9th dcl cruise, although we hope to do a last minute one in December, if decent military rates or GT rates come out!
Usually we travel with our 2 teens, but this time it will be just the 2 of us! we did a 4 day last year just us, and it was great, so we can't wait for this next one!
We have done St. Maarten before through DCL, and have been to San Juan, but not through cruising. It is a great city, and I am thinking of doing one of the excursions to El Yunque Rainforest, I have been there before, but my husband has not, and It is beautiful.
If anyone has any questions that I can answer, I am happy to do so, we have sailed on all of the Disney ships, and I see that we have a lot of newer cruisers, I know we will all have a great time!

Cruise Meet threads are doing just fine still managing meet and FE discussions right here on the DIS as they have since FE began (also here on the DIS).

FE organizers generally need to know how many people (adults/children) are participating in each cabin with child ages for age appropriate gift giving. Other information you would like to share such as names, allergies, favorite characters, etc. is up to you. Other personal information is not really necessary. Those organizing FEs typically ask for the information to be posted in the meet thread or sent to them via PM.

For those posting in this Cruise Meet thread to join a FE, if no one comes forward to organize a FE for this cruise, anyone can organize the FE right in this thread.

Hello, just booked yesterday. This is my 6th Disney cruise, just got off the Fantasy Dec. 6th. We went to St. Thomas, San Juan and Castaway Cay. This probably is about cruise #20 or so, but love love Disney.

There will be my sister and BIL in one cabin and myself and a friend in another. My sis was just released from the hospital today, had Chemo for liver cancer so as you can see these are so relaxing for her , they were with us on the last one too. They are in their 80's.

I think I would have time to do FE's for us if the group would not be huge. I'm retired but still have lots to do most days. We are GTY so far, so no idea where we will end up.

I'm excited to meet everyone, are there any other activities for this group so far? Its going to be fun fun

A little about me, this will be my DH, DS and my 3rd cruise, 1st was on the dream, the 2nd was to Hawaii. My DS's birthday is Jan 31st! He will be 6!
DH and I have an anniversary Feb 14th so we will celebrate that as well.

My sis will be joining us in the cabin next door, she has a DD who will be 6 and my own DD who is 25 and turning 26 will be in her cabin.

So this is a celebration cruise for us, 2 birthdays and our anniversary!

Just booked for my DH, me, and my DD (6) and DD (4). We were on the Disney Dream 2.5 years ago, but my now 4 year old wasn't old enough for the Club so this will be a new experience for us. Looking forward to meeting everyone.
