I know the reasoning behind who the ships Godmother is was discussed on the podcast. regarding the Fantasy christening.

I figured Mariah was chosen because she had that song "Fantasy".

I have to agree they should have someone Disney related.

My guess is it was a perk for Mariah in order to get her to appear in last year's Christmas parade.

I know Disney has used a Ciderella Castle stay in order to sign other celebrities to movies and such.
