We are wanting to spend one day just going through the resorts and hotels. What would be the perfect brkfst, lunch and dinner tour of WDW resorts? Shoot, how about an afternoon snack and late dessert, too?

There are so many great places! We havn't been to a lot of resort restaurants, but you must get an ice cream creation at Beaches n' Cream at the Beach Club :) Take a look at the food porn thread ;)

If I were going I would go to Kona Cafe for breakfast, Beaches and Cream for lunch and ice cream, and Jiko for dinner. My stomach is too full from even typing that much food to figure out where I'd have a snack and a late dessert

We had planned on doing something like this to see the Christmas decorations, before we switched our dates from Dec to Jan. This is roughly what I had in mind to hit all of the deluxes except Animal Kingdom in one day. Keep in mind that this plan involves lots of meal-sharing, because if everyone orders something at every stop it would be an insane amount of food!

Breakfast: Whispering Canyon Cafe

Take the boat to the Contemporary to look around there, then hop the monorail for

Lunch: Kona Cafe

Walk over to the Grand Floridian for

Afternoon snack: Garden View Tea Room

Then bus over to MGM and hop the boat to

Dinner: Flying Fish

Then enjoy the Boardwalk for a while before

Late Dessert: Beaches & Cream.

That was just what we were thinking, Colleen. We're going Jan 1 hoping to catch the last of the decorations and wanting to check out the DVC while we are there. As long as we are taking the tour, we thought we'd have a few great meals along the way. It sounds as though Kona Cafe and Beaches and Cream are definite stops!

At the GF I would definitely do the afternoon tea or lunch at the Cafe. This is a great resort to just walk around and explore. If you're just thinking of sampling foods, then perhaps starting out at the Boardwalk Bakery for a quick breakfast might work then you won't fill up too fast! I would build in some walking/shopping time in between meals to help work up an appetite. We love to walk around AKL and YC/BC, BW and GF, as mentioned. Have fun on your tour!
