Fantasy/Dream AP benefit questions

When we go via Eurostar in September we'll be getting AP's and have sorted sponsership out.

We're trying to decide which to go for.

I doubt that me and my gf will be up early enough to make use of the EMH.

The black out days don't effect us so the only other main difference I can see of benefit to us are that the Dream AP give you 30% off Disney Hotels on certain dates, you get a free aperitif offered in the table service restaurants and Free entrance to Hurricanes nightclub in the Disney Village.

So my questions are:

Does anyone know what dates you get 30% off for next year or where I could find this. Or what they were this year? and whether these are actual genuine savings?

What is the free aperitif usually?

And what is Hurricanes nightclub like?

The aperitif is either a Kir or an orange juice.

They dont tend to advertise the dates when you can get 30% off its just a matter or ringing up and seeing what discount is available. I thought you were guaranteed up to 30% with dream AP whereas with fantasy you may get discount sometimes
I also thought you got higher discount in shops with dream but I may be wrong on this

Thanks both of you for your help, shame we can't find out the dates as im looking to go back in May for our anniversary and stay onsite

I'l just have to ring up after our our stay in September and find out then to give us enough time to book the Eurostar at the cheap rates

There are some blackout dates for the Fantasy Passes next May. I hope they won't affect your trip.

Just in case anyone is interested here are the dates for 2008 30% discount at hotels with the Dream AP. Found on the linked site a few posts above

Fingers crossed they'll have some good dates for next year, it would be rude not to take advantage then!

its "a Disney hotel" - so there will be discounts available at the onsite hotels.

This is awesome! I can't wait until we have APs (well, first we need to move to France) and can use this! I think it's the only way we'd ever possibly stay in the Disneyland Hotel!
