My family and I have stayed in both inside staterooms and ocean view rooms. We've never stayed in a Verandah room. Hopefully one day we can. For our next cruise we can either stay in an inside room on deck 9, or in an ocean view on deck 2. We've never stayed on deck 9, usually we've been on deck 2. I think being close to the pool deck and cabanas could be a good thing. But I like the layout of the ocean view and verandah rooms where when you walk in, you walk past the bed and then into the area with the couch. Does anyone have an opinion to help me decide?

Thank you!

I personally would go for the ocean view deck 2. I love the windows on deck 2 and its really convenient to get up to dinner/main areas on the ships. The elevators are usually very quick too so not an issue to get up to the pool/cabanas. We always view deck 4 (outdoor walking area) as "our verandah" if we are traveling without one.

A view of the outside is always appreciated and makes the space feel bigger. Also, depending on what Inside stateroom category you are looking at, it may not have a split bathroom which is a major negative for us.

No matter what you decide, enjoy your cruise!

Thank you! Both rooms have a split bathroom, I made sure of that!

On the Dream/Fantasy I found deck 2 really annoying as I found that at dinner loads of people came down the wrong stairs and walked by all the rooms for EG.

However if you’re fine with deck 2 then I would definitely do OV over inside!
