Welcome aboard!!!!!! I've only been on one cruise so far and it was the Fantasy, isn't it amazing?

You're right, the Fantasy was amazing! I've been on 4 other cruises... 3 with Carnival and 1 with RCL. Out of all the cruises we've taken, we were by far the most impressed with Disney. The ship was kept in much better shape, the food was better quality, and the most noticeable element was how friendly and happy the CMs were.

Hi All, I booked back in July 2013 but wanted to poke my head in and say hey!

Super excited to be booked on this cruise. It will be our 3rd cruise but our first Disney Cruise!! I am a super Disney fanatic and my kids love it almost as much as me.

Myself (27), Diane (40), Jack (9) and Kate (7) will be on the cruise. All of us will be a year older by then!

I am driving myself crazy already with all the research I'm doing. I suppose we can all at least enjoy the very extended period of anticipation we have :) I'm looking forward to getting and sharing some tips and tricks!

We had tried to get some other family to come along (my mother-in-law and sis-in-law) but not sure they will make it. Told mom-in-law to book concierge early so she could enjoy with us. The prices have already gone up quite a bit. A week ago I checked and a Cat V was about $4500 for 2 ppl. As of today it was $6700 on the Disney site.

Will also join the facebook group...

Just signed up for this cruise.

It will be me: :tinker: Sharon celebrating my birthday:bday:
my son: :goofy:Rick 42(high function Special Needs)

I'm already signed up on FB

Is there a FE sign up sheet yet?

DW and I booked our stateroom for this cruise on saturday, not sure how I am going to make it until we sail, the excitement is overwhelming. This will be our 4th on DCL.

I have a dilemma now. My little brother, whom I promised I would attend his college graduation, just informed me he is graduating a semester earlier than planned. Based on graduations in the past, the date will likely be 12/07/14. We were expecting to attend a May 2015 graduation. This trip is for my son's 8th birthday, and he has known about it since we booked it back in March whilst taking our Spring Break cruise.

Do I disappoint my son and move the sail date or do I disappoint my brother and not attend his graduation? If it were not a birthday trip, I would reschedule in a heartbeat. However, he will have plenty more birthdays.

My little brother attends school far away from any of our family and is concerned no one will go to support him. Even my Dad is afraid to fly there (says he is too old to fly). Any advice?

Welcome aboard to our newest cruise mates. Has everyone found the Facebook Page? That page will be a great source for info, planning and meeting people. Little bit easier to follow threads there too.

Hello! Just checking in to see how everyone is doing? I also thought my post would bump us up in case anyone was looking for our roll call thread.

I hope everyone is doing well! I am so excited that we are less than a year away now :cool1:.

Has anyone purchased the Passporter DCL book before? I love my WDW Passporter deluxe binder and always bring it into the parks. I wondered if the Cruise version is a good book for me to purchase in the next month or so to read since this is our first cruise on a Disney ship.

Thanks,
Melissa

Currently we are booked for western august 16th 2014. Financially it may be better to wait and I wonder how the ship would be in December? I didn't want to take kids out of school .. Grades 5 and 3 next year but now am toying with idea. Hmm...

We are no longer sailing on the December 6 the itinerary. We will be leaving on January 18 th instead. Just 28 days to go. We wish you all a fantastic voyage!

Sorry to be losing you BusyBee. Any new people here please look in thread for the Facebook link and sign up to join us on that page too.

Just got off the Fantasy yesterday and booked our last night there for this sailing. We had no plan to do so but we just loved our vacation. This was our 2nd DCL first was on the Magic in 2011.

My DH and I are in our 40s and our DS NOah will be 7 1/2 when we next sail. We are going to POFQ the week after the cruise. We usually do WDW then the cruise but we are flipping it this time to try something new . . .

I sent a request for FB (C. Kelly on that) and would like to join the FE group.

Look forward to chatting with you all over the next 348 days!

Good news! You will not be sailing alone:) We are planning on cruising the December 6th Fantasy as well.

Hi, all!
We will be joining you on this cruise.
My family is me and DH, and my twin boys age 12 at cruise time.
We had never cruised before, but were on the Fantasy, December 7, 2013 cruise and the whole family loved it!
Unfortunately, we didn't pull the trigger fast enough to rebook on board, :worried:so we missed that bargain, but we won't let that happen again!

How do I sign up for the FE? I didn't do that first cruise, and definitely want to get involved this time out.
