Fantasy Cruisers- did you have a server that did magic tricks?

Very impressive sleight of hand magic with the ring & chain and the little foam balls.

That is him!!! Thanks so much, I want to give him a kudos to disney. He did some tricks w/ little foam balls. the boys loved it!

Yes, it was an impressive display. We had no problem increasing the gratuities for Nelson & Carlos above the "recommended" amount.

On the Magic all the servers did Magic tricks, but only when they had time. We had late seating so there was a Magic show every night if you stayed late at dinner. Our DS was 16 at the time and did magic has a hobby, so we had a group of servers and other guests around our table every night after dinner as the servers and my son tried to "one up" each other.

Tiago from Portugal did magic tricks and other brain twisters. He was awesome! I was trying to post a picture with him, but I can't figure out how.

My (lol) Tiago was from Portugal. I don't remember his last name unfortunately. I do know his wife Aries is also a server & awesome. She stuck up a conversation with my son one day at breakfast & was so sweet. We had no idea she was his wife until he introduced her to us one night at dinner.

Out of 24 Disney cruises, I would say that on at least 20 of them either the server or the asst server did some sort of magic tricks with my daughter.

I love the assistant servers! It's funny how they do the same brain teasers ever cruise but I can still never remember them. They actually all get training on it before hitting the floor. Our last assistant server gave our son his training booklet. shhhhh ;-)

weve had a few different servers, dining room heads or asst servers that have done something. Weve had a few sing, some do magic tricks and some tricks with match sticks.

We absolutely love Gavin from Barbados (although he lives in NYC now.) We requested him on April 2015 cruise (he had been our server in Oct 2013) and he treated all of us like royalty! DS8 is extremely picky and he is awesome about it. DH likes the escargot and he made sure he had them every evening. If we ever go back on the Fantasy, we will definitely be requesting him!

Our Asst Waiter was all over that. We sail without kids and they still treat us like kids.

Our Asst Waiter on the Fantasy last Sept was Louis from Portugal (?). Hope I got the country right. Said he'd be back for our next Septmber sailing.

He was the best server we've had from our 5 previous cruises.

We had Nelson last Sept on the Fantasy. He did magic tricks for us most every night -- and we were a table of two adults at second seating. He was a lot of fun. His enthusiasm for magic made us appreciate the tricks even more. He said most of the other servers bought tricks but he made his own.

You bet we did. On our cruise in June of 2014 on the Fantasy both of our servers did magic tricks for the kids. Our assistant server did several every night that still have us guessing. His name was Javi (Javier) from Peru. Man was he good at not only the magic tricks but was great overall.

Our Main Server Steve did a few too. He was from India. He did them the last few nights of dining
