I was on a Dream New Years Eve Cruise two years ago. They did pirate night on NYE although that was the 2nd or 3rd night of our cruise. Fireworks didn't go off until midnight. I am not sure if fireworks will be set off on NYE on this cruise because it's the first night. I am calling concierge on September 2 to make my reservations and I will ask then. On the Dream they handed out hats, tiaras, and noisemakers thru our cabin stewards.

Oh that sounds fun! I am excited to see how it all works for NYE!

Brrrr Chicago in JAN. I am sure the cruise will be a lovely warm weather break!! Not sure of the exact weather during Jan on the cruise, but surely warmer than Chicago!
