My wife and stayed in a 1 bedroom suite 12520. We are DINKs celebrating our 25th wedding anniversary.My report will be short as I don't want to go on and on about how great it was. First we had perfect weather for this time of year. Hot,humid Seas like glass, sunny scattered clouds that allowed for perfect sunrise and sunsets.
First and foremost I want to praise the three best concierge hostess I had the pleasure to meet.Sara, Julia and Kemisha. They alone with Alicia(training to takeover of Sara) made our trip a Fantasy.
From the time you arrive at the cruise terminal to the debarkation you are pampered.You personal escorted on to the ship by the Conciege check in staff,taken to the lounge handed a glass of your choice. Then " our girls" as we came to call them. (This is to be disrespectful but a term of Endearment.) They handled very possible request with the efficiently of a well oiled machine. There are representatives from the spa and remy to take your reservation at the lounge. This take all of 30 min. By that time your room is ready.
As for the suite there are huge,beautiful and over the top.After careful evaluation the single greatest reason to pay the hefty cost is that dining room table. The ability to eat from the MDR menus in your room will turn out to be magic in our case.As it turned out on this cruise more the 59% of the passengers were from South America. So for our table arraignment we had 2nd seating, as I was would find outit is customary for Latin families to eat late so there we're few English speaking tables to seat us with.As a result we seated in a table for two with no one to visit with.We asked to be moved but there was on other option. In there defense the head waiter did very thing he could to accommodate us but is was just so much more romantic to eat in our suite..Each afternoon we would read the menu in the concierge lounge and request our meal. This aloud us flexibility in our dinning times. If we want to eat a 700 pm, 855pm or 750 pm or another time within a range of 715 and 939 pm At the appointed time the service staff would bring us our dinner set up on the table with Linens for a private dinner looking out at the ocean ,stars,fireworks. If we wanted to see the MDR show we had our table there too.
Back to the Concierge staff, each morning I would seek in to the lounge first thing to get coffee and breakfast to take back to my waking bride and I would be greeted with "Hello Brien how was your day yesterday and what you you have planed today "form Sara she seemed to get the early shift. As each guest entered the loung a similar greeting was given in any language needed. To see the" our girls" interact with the children was a study in interpersonal relationships that that could be use in a self help book. Each child was talk to as a aunty or grandmother would her closest loved one. On many occasions I saw a group to children playing a game and in the middle was one of "our girls"As I stated before we don't have children so my experience with this type of interaction may be limited but I was taken a back.
We did all of the typical shore excursions and dinners and brunches at Remy and Palo the we're impeccable so I wont go on about those as others have done a far better post here on the DIS BOARDS than I ever could..
I will finish by saying Bravo Disney Cruise Lines and God bless Sara, Julia and Kemisha.
