Good Morning Everyone:

We are in home stretch for the end of school here in SD - so life is hectic. DD2 in playing a Munchkin in a Wizard of Oz Production - so lots of transporting to and from practices. DD1 is prepping for finals and assisting with HS play as well as busy with part time job in a coffee house.

Our DD3 was born with a severe heart defect - HLHS. She has had 3 open heart surgeries and has a pacemaker. Just had her Cardiology checkup and everything looks wonderful - Dr. said we didn't have to come back for 12 months. That will be first time in her entire life that we have been allowed to wait 12 months for a cardiology visit. Big Milestone!!

We are busy prepping for our Orlando trip on May 21-29. Plan to visit Magic Kingdom, Animal Kingdom and Hollywood Studios - very much looking forward to Star Wars weekends!

We still have kept the cruise a secret from the kids - we will see how long that lasts

Finishing coffee and off to a haircut. Everyone have a lovely day!

Hi all so nice to hear from you all, some of the people have been chatting it up side October so enjoy the read we have a really great group going so far. Amber, Dave and Miley are in for a great trip! And congrats to Tom for wanting to start his retirement off right with Mickey and our gang! And sue just have to say I love your name! Welcome Jon, Joyce, Jenny, and Jake! Can't wait to hear more about you all, we are so excited and counting down the days

Things here are pretty rough.

My mom had a spinal fusion in 2001 and a knee replacement in 2006. Her back went out Wednesday by Saturday she was unable to walk. The Dr called in some meds to help get her at least able to move but things are really hard. I got her into work today, and once there she is doing ok, but will have to go pick her up later. She has to conserve her sick days as she is meeting with her Orthopedic Surgeon to discuss another fusion, and disc surgery. I don't know how to help her more then I am already and I worry about her being in
so much pain.

I'd love to say that having this cruise to look forward to makes it easier but in my practical side, all I can say is that its hopeful that we'll get to still go, but only time will tell.

So if I'm quiet its not that I am ignoring we just have a lot going on right now.

I soo get it! I know that it is alot to take on right now with you finishing school so soon, there goes those two weeks of quiet, well you are better off not stopping because it is too hard to start back up again! Your mom and you are both in our prayers may you mom get well soon and you just take three minutes every day and breathe!

We celebrated my retirement by sailing on the Magic a week later in January. It was a great way to start off a new adventure.

That's her Sues! She was assistant with Alexander (my husband really bonded with him...) when we had her in 2009 and I think it was one of her first cruises... poor thing, she was so timid back then. Was happy to see her again this past January...

Everytime I see her and Igor it just takes me back. What is so silly is that it was my twenty year old son that asked them to be friends on Facebook, and they both got excited about it. Then we all became friends and one day I just wrote to Nicole and she would take a little while and send one back. Then she left the cruise line and we started talking more and more. She is just a new wonderful part of our family she just lives too far from us! Tony is now using google to talk with her in German and she gets a kick out of that. Sooo cool !

Congratulations to Tom!

She was asst. Server to Igor from Serbia. We are FB friends with both, but in frequent contact with Nicole since she no longer works for DCL. Igor is now on the Dream so less contact with him.

Hope everyone had a nice Mother's day. We stayed home and grilled out by the pool. The whole time DS7 kept talking about the pools on the Dream and asking how much longer until our Fantasy cruise

2 more weeks of school left until Summer break. Anyone planning fun trips this summer? We're off to Jekyll island for a week next month. Not as nice a beach as CC, but we'll make do!
