I saw on the Disney Cruise Line site that you can choose the Fantasy of sailing a transatlantic!!! But I can't select a port.

Does anybody knows IF the fantasy is sailing a transatlantic in February 2012?

Since this is before the maiden voyage, that is the time when they will be bringing the ship over from Germany (after the ship is completed at the shipyard). It is highly unlikely anyone other than cast and crew will be on that ship. They are still working tirelessly around the ship during that time to prepare it for guests! :) When the Dream was being built, it also showed up as a transatlantic, but no one could book it. Hope this helps!

You're welcome! That would be pretty awesome though...I would seriously consider doing it if we were allowed to book it! :)

Yes me to. We went on the magic transatlantic eastbound this year and it was wonderful

Wouldn't that be great??? I would even be willing to help make the beds and stock the shelves if I could be on the trip from Germany :)

I saw that yesterday, too. I would totally book it if it was available. I think DCL might be missing a big opportunity here. :thumbsup2

When the Dream did their transatlantic only senior officers and higher up CMs had family/friends on the voyage (Which was over Christmas/New Years). I imagine the same will happen for the Fantasy.

Ultimately the ship will not be ready and fully functional for guests. There is still a lot of prep work being done during the transatlantic. And Disney would not want the magic ruined for it's normal guests.

When the Dream came home, she came home with regular WDW cms onboard also. They were given the oppurtunity to help train the new crewmwmbers in the rest etc to act as guests.
