Fantasy 1/22/22 SWDAS Itinerary Change to Western

Oooooh - can you tell me more about this bird sanctuary? Hoping that our stop at Grand Cayman (which of course hasn't been announced yet) will result in a Costa Maya stop!

It is just in the other side of the big pool. There are maybe 8-10 little huts you go in with the birds free to fly around. Each hut is connected by robe bridges above town. You get some cool views and can get a great picture of the ship. This was 4 years ago, not sure if it’s changed. At the time it was less the $50 for the 4 of us (2a&2c)

Well....it looks like we won't be enjoying the change of itinerary. Took our at home Covid tests on Wednesday and my DH got a positive hit. It was confirmed yesterday with a formal PCR test. He has no symptoms so it took us completely by surprise.

We were able to reschedule everything for October so it's back to the original Eastern itinerary, but we will be missing out on Star Wars Day. I believe everything transferred over and we will even get some money back as the new cruise is slightly less expensive, but apparently we lost the placeholder that we initially used.

Just trying to look at it as a sign that this cruise just wasn't meant to be.....and at least we caught it before we got on the plane!

That's a bummer, but it sounds like you were able to re-schedule and rolling with the punches. Stay healthy and enjoy your October cruise!
