Not sure what excursions we are going to do as they have chopped the time we are in the ports to only a few hours.

As I think I mentioned previously, we plan on doing Salsa & Salsa in Cozumel, but I think in Costa Maya and Grand Cayman, we're going to look for public beaches and just hang out. I'm strongly considering going to 100% Agave in Costa Maya, but may do Tropicante on account of the free Wi-Fi. It will depend on whether I'll be able to get an extension on my assignments or whether I'll be spending my beach time relaxing or doing homework.
What's Salsa & Salsa entail? How long will we be in Grand Cayman?

The Salsa and Salsa in Cozumel sounds like alot of fun.Did you book directly for that one with them ? Is it close to port or how do you get there from the ship?
Just called 888-325-2500 to see which movies would be playing during our Fantasy Cruise. Here's the list as of November 2012 --- not a guarantee for future months but it's possible:
Cars 2 (3D)
The Help
The Muppets
War Horse
Chimpanzee
Brave - 2D and 3D
The Avengers
People Like Us
The Odd Life of Timothy Green
Frankenweenie
Wreck-It Ralph
Lincoln
Monsters Inc 3D
Hope this is useful for someone.
Does anyone have any plans to decorate their doors? I found all my magnets from last cruise and most of them are "dated" so I am going to have to make more. Of course, since the girls are going to be surprised, I can't really work on them until after Christmas!!!
Here is a picture of our door from the last cruise..... We won't go overboard this time - haha

Greetings from Canada, fellow cruisers!!!
We are soooooo excited to be going on this cruise - we were on the Maiden Voyage in March and the Fanstasy is just AWESOME. This time around, (first time ever) my husband and I actually get to have a week all to ourselves at WDW before the cruise since our daughter is only flying in on Feb 2. Oh, the trouble we are going to cause at Epcot
We are looking to see whether there are any other 11 or 12 year old girls on the cruise that are looking to pre-meet a friend? The last time we went, we were able to arrange a pen-pal with a family from the UK that had a similar aged-daughter (yup, good old-fashioned letters in the mail!). It was really cute because they wrote to each other about themselves and even sent little stickers and gifts...by the time of the cruise they were already great friends. If any tween girls on the Feb2/2013 cruise is interested in doing the same, please let us know!
Also, could you please add us to role call? Here is our info:
Name: Three At Sea
Stateroom (or category): 5E GTY
Number traveling: 2 adults (DW 39 and DH41), 1 child (DD 11)
FE participants: N/A
Dining rotation: 2nd (wait-listed for main)
Looking to meet up with: DD11 and 40-something adults to dance it up in the clubs with us!
See everyone in 90 days!!!! YEAHHHH!![]()

I've got a quick FE update for everyone.
First, I'm putting together a spreadsheet of participants, which can be located here: https://docs.google.com/spreadsheet/ccc?key=0Ambmju7elEacdHdQZVRCSE5TdzN3NFNBTUNqRWJ2amc
Second, the cutoff date for the FE will be December 1.
For those wondering what an FE exchange is, essentially, you hang a long piece of cloth with pockets over the fish (or seahorse) outside your stateroom. Each participating stateroom drops of a gift or gifts for all the other participating staterooms (which is why we need the spreadsheet.) Gifts are generally small-ish things that represent the cruise or you or your hometown. There's lots of information on the DIS boards. They're a lot of fun!!! The "baseline" is 1 gift per stateroom per cruise. You may choose to do more if you wish.
Also, I know some FE groups like having "assigned" delivery days. Personally, I'm not at all a fan of that. I like leaving it wide open. With a cruise of this length, there's no rush and it makes it that much more fun and "magical." At least, to me.
As of right now, I count 14 "groups" participating in the FE exchange: some "groups" are in multiple staterooms, so I don't have a solid count on all that yet. As stateroom numbers come in, we can sort that out.
Hi Remiro,
Thanks for all your help getting the FE set up (thanks goes to the other people also helping on this board...)
I agree with you about not assigning delivery days...we're on vacation, so I'd hate for someone to miss a show or dinner because they're trying to deliver their gifts on time.
At some point (after December 1st) I want to make sure I understand the one gift/stateroom policy (as I'm planning one main gift and then a couple of small gifts based on ages of kids, etc).
For example, if a family of 6, staying in two staterooms, gives a gift from each stateroom, I want to make sure that I also give that family two of my main gifts (one per stateroom)...
Whereas, if my family splits into a second stateroom, we're still only doing one set of FE gifts, and so we'd only put our FE pocket bag on one door and expect nothing to be dropped off at the other stateroom...
So I'll need that information at some point to make sure I have enough "main gifts" ready to go.
Thanks!
The deadline for participating in the FE exchange is in 3 weeks! If you are undecided, feel free to ask me about particulars. Also, if you have your stateroom assignment, please let me know or post it on the FE Google doc! If we don't know where you are, we can't leave goodies for you!
It's getting to be exciting time!!
