Just thought I'd post some pictures from the weekend we spent with Natalie and family.
They arrived Friday evening and, after opening Birthday pressies and despatching the boys to bed, we enjoyed a chinese takeaway and watched The Bucket List (which was pretty pants).
Saturday we went to Bath for the day.
Nat and John on the Park-and-ride bus
Sian tried on some prom dresses - this was our favourite.
Then it was off to TGI Fridays for lunch
Nat and I had cocktails
I was totally embarrassed when they made me get up on a chair while everyone sang Happy Birthday
Nat and I shared a pudding but couldn't finish it so Daniel and Matthew helped out
The kids were really well behaved
After that, it was off to some more shops. We found a shop which I'm sure Mandymouse would love
And we had a quick visit to Animal Kingdom (ELC really
)
Then it was back home where Nat and I had a little shushy while the kids played and John and Gary watched football and rugby.
Yesterday morning, we added the Longstaff family names to our countdown chart
Then John and Gary took the kids to the park while Nat and I made dinner, which was yummy.
Overall, we had a fabulous weekend, the weather was great and the company was good. We even managed to fit in some holiday planning (although we'd had a few by then so I can't remember how far we got
)
Thanks Nat and John for a great weekend
