See post #40 on this thread - there's no Fish Extender set up here on DISboards for this cruise. There may be FE groups on other sites, but they are not DISboards connected, and links or search directions to those are not allowed.

Post #40 has a suggested procedure for setting up a FE group here on DISboards, if anyone is interested in stepping up and saying "I'll maintain the list". Otherwise, there will be no FE group here.

BTW, a cruise meet thread is more than doing the Fish Extender exchange. It's a place to discuss things with others on your specific cruise. Among those "things" may be FEs, excursions, meet and greets (for the group), pre/post cruise plans, mixology/tasting groups (if interested), just general "I'm going on a Disney cruise" discussions.

Hey all! I updated the FE to say we need a volunteer to coordinate it if we are to have one thru disboards. I can't take that on at this time. The other option, as has been mentioned, is to join one thru social media.

Also, I will try to update the roll call this weekend. My 4mth old is a bit high maintenance so using my desktop doesn't Happen often. If you want to be added to that post please let me know any info you'd like to share, such as family name, #sailings, etc. We are really looking forward to this cruise!! Only 160 days to go!

Hi! We just put our deposit down yesterday! First time cruising. We will be a family of four. Me,DH, DD9, and DD7. I am super excited because this is my dream vacation.

Hi my amazing granddaughter will be 10. We went on this cruise last year and we all loved it so much decided to go again. It was a dream vacation for me to! It was FABULOUS! We would love to meet you guys. I'm sure our girls would have a great time together. So looking forward to this trip.

We are going to be a family of 6 on the Fantasy Eastern Oct 8, 2016. Booked yesterday. Kids ages will be 17, 8, 6, 9mths.

This is our 3rd sailing on DCL and 2nd on the Fantasy. Super excited to be back!! We will couple it with WDW after the cruise since it is our kids' fall break. Can't wait!!!

MNSSHP is my very favorite thing at WDW so I can't wait see see what Halloween on the High Seas is all about. Yay!

Hi All! I am new to the DCL, cruises in general AND writing on forums. I've been doing a lot of research to make the most of our cruise and that is how I found out that you can join your cruise's forum. We are traveling on the Fantasy leaving Port Canaveral on Oct. 8th 2016 and doing the Eastern Caribbean, and I THINK that this is the correct forum. I saw earlier posts about joining the FB page but I am unsure of how to find that?

We also would like to join in on the Fish Extender Exchange but I am (AGAIN!) unsure of how to do that. We will be traveling in a room with myself, my husband and our two boys who will be 10 and 6 on the cruise. My mother in law and father in law will be with us as well in their own room. I also noticed some people saying things like DH and DS and DD, I'm thinking this is husband, son, and daughter but I don't know? The FE looks like so much fun and we can't wait to participate!!!

Please help me guys so that I will be in the know and can make this the BEST TRIP EVER! for my boys!!!

I also wanted to find out some more information about pools on the ship... It is my understanding that blow up floaties and noodles aren't allowed, is that correct? Also, would it be a good idea for us to bring googles, dive sticks and other pool toys? Are they allowed in the water and is the pool deep enough for these things?

And thirdly: I keep hearing about wine tastings, mixology, and dessert tastings but I can't find where to sign up for these either? Do we wait until we are on the ship?

Anyone recommend Palo or Remy over each other? I keep hearing that it's worth additional cost but I'm not completely sold... Thoughts!?!

No pool noodles or floaties. There really isn't room for diving or such (the pools are small). We bring goggles and masks for the kids as we use them on the beaches too.

You can sign up for the dessert tastings in the adult dining spot where you sign up for excursions. The other stuff is onboard.

We have ate at both Palo and Remy. Personal preference, but we didn't like Remy. I know a lot of people just gush over it and our opinion isn't popular, but we didn't care for the food. When we left, we went back to our room and ordered room service. Palo was good though. Get the chocolate souffle....oh my goodness!

HI EVERYONE! It's official we just booked our cruise!! There are 11 of us going for my mom's retirement trip and my parents 35th wedding anniversary. None of us have been on a Disney Cruise before but my husband and I have been on a cruise for our honeymoon.
We have 4 children and 7 adults going. I will be getting everyones favorite things together and posted soon for FE!
