Fantastic Dinner at O’hana last night

I know O’hana gets mixed reviews, so just wanted to report back on our experience last night.

We were a party of 8, that has to book two groups of 4. We arrived at podium at 4:30 for our 4:50 reservation and they were able to get us a table together. We have two in our group with celiac. The food was outstanding, all of it from appetizers to dessert. It was all fresh, delicious, hot. Our two with celiac really appreciated the options and quality! The GG dessert (bread pudding) was one of the best GF desserts they’ve ever had! We were not at all rushed and had greater servers. We had a lovely seat overlooking the castle!

Great to hear and thank you for sharing this info on the boards. We are going to O’Hana for the first time during our upcoming Christmas trip and wondered what version we might experience. This makes me hopeful and excited!

We ate at 'Ohana a couple of weeks ago and I was pleasantly surprised. We were in the St. Pete/Clearwater area for some sports related stuff but I got this crazy idea to drive to WDW on our last night. We had decided to give 'Ohana a rest after a bad experience in 2017 and similar reviews from others right up until Covid. The reviews after it opened post-Covid also weren't confidence boosters. Still, I saw a few more recent reviews and we were thinking Poly for our visit we gave it a shot. We were only a party of 2. It was a last minute thing, but I got a 6:25 pm ADR and we were seated about 10 minutes early. Food was good, service was well paced and friendly, and we even got some bday treats.

This honestly tracks with our experiences there too. We’ve yet to have a bad meal there. September was just as good as the last time.

I’m really happy to hear about the fantastic GF experience also. We are bringing a first timer with a gluten sensitivity next year and wanted to eat there on my birthday so I was concerned.

We have been twice.... Always thought it was a great experience. Going back to eat on December 19 again.
