Hi Everyone!
We had a GREAT holiday weekend at The Boardwalk! It only rained for a few hours one afternoon, THAT was amazing.
My husband golfed at Osprey Ridge and Celebration golf courses. They were a little wet but both gorgeous courses.
We went to Typhoon Lagon two mornings. We hadn't been there for years. It was a blast! We got there early (about 8:30) and left about 1:00 each day. It was getting crowded by then.
We finally ate in Flying Fish, that was the best steak I have ever had! It was so good we went back the next night! The calamari is really good too. We had fun with our server, John.
The show at Epcot, SHOCKWAVE, is not to be missed! It's at the American Gardens Theater, through the end of August, I think. If you have an annual pass you can get priority seating at the AP Lounge but we just arrived at the theater about 15 minutes before showtime and got good seats. Be sure to catch this show if you can!
The attraction "One Man's Dream" at MGM is also very worthwhile, it's all about Walt Disney's life. We saw it on out last afternoon there. I usually want to cry on our last afternoon there and this time I did! Spend the time it takes to wander through the exhibit and then see the movie.
Of course, there's much more but I have gone on long enough...for now! I need to get busy planning our next trip, which I hope will be in just a few weeks.
Happy travels!
