Fantasmic's Return?

Was hoping either Fantasmic or the WDW Railroad would be back by my September trip. Looks like getting neither...

The good news is Splash Mountain at least looks to remain open for one last rides on it.

Was hoping for the same for my late August trip....think Splash will close after the holidays??? January 2023??? Every trip I act like it's my last ride...too bad the ride is in such a bad state of disrepair....

Hope it will be January. DH’s favorite ride, we’ll be there in November for the first time in over 10 years.

My kids were too young to see Fantasmic in their first Disney trip years ago and now that they are older and could stay up for it and enjoy it, it isn’t happening. Going in September and had hoped it would have returned.

I just hope they are using this opportunity to develop a new, fresh and amazing Fantasmic, and not a rerun of what was before.

They replaced the Pocahontas scene with something new, so it will be different. Just *when* is the only thing left

They also did some work on the stadium and the set. So they are planning to resume. I’ve read the delay is related to not having enough performers.

Well they could offer more money... but that would affect existing performers pay scale as well. And with threats of a recession, and the fact that these shows/attractions not being available hasn't slowed down guest (and Disney isn't as concerned with guest retention or satisfaction as they once were). Can write off negative impact as being COVID's fault.

Pocahontas is supposed to be removed and new aladdin frozen and Moana show scenes added
