We've never been. How is it? My youngest will be 3 and she's not afraid of the dark. WIll it be scary for her?

It is a great show. Not to be missed. Your 3 yr might be a little intimidated by the noise, but all the characters are there and it is alot of fun!!!

Well there are some parts that may be a little loud and scary. There's a part in the show where the villains come out, and may be a little scary.

I would just keep them chippery. As you know, they'll read you. If you laugh and smile they're MORE likely to do the same (nothing is positive as you know).

There is one loud bang early in the show. Then the music is loud at parts but nothing should be too bad.

You can have some "cotton" earplugs. It doesn't really muffle the noise so much that they can't hear but will enough to keep it from being intrusive on them.

I love this show! I am an adult and am one of those people who are on my feet cheering and clapping during this show(I probably annoy those behind me)!! It is amazing! The youngest child that came with me was 12 and he loved it just the same. Don't miss it, it is one of the best shows I have seen.

I love Fantasmic, a must do for me on every trip! If your 3 year old isn't easily frightened by things I think she would love all of the characters. As someone else posted, it is a little loud, but cottonballs and reassurance if she starts looking nervous would probably be enough. I saw a lot of small children on my last visit and they all seemed to love it! ::MickeyMo

If your three year old doesn't like the "bad guys" in the Disney movies, she may be scared. Sit towards the back so she isn't as close, and all the seats are "good seats" so don't worry about not seeing. With all Disney stuff there is a happy ending.

My 3 y/o loved it when we went!! I would look into the fantasmic dinner package if your going anytime it is at all busy!! Mama Melrose is fantastic!

we have only seen it once but i was surpised by the number of preschool/toddler age kids screaming and crying..i might have noticed it cause one was right beside me( they left soon after it began) maybe we hit a bad night but i thought from the reaction of the kids ,husband and i thought it was
not really for young kids, just kind of loud and scary. i know my one daughter would have hated it as a child.

i think a good judge would be how they do at an intense scene in a kids movie at a theatre( bambi fire or similar scary scene) . if they are usually scared i wouldn't take them

Thank you all! I think we'll give it a go. My older DD was the one afraid of loud noises and the dark (she just started sleeping by herself 8 months ago, if that tells you anything!) My 2 yo DD - who'll be 3 when we go, loves the dark and has no darkness (or sleep) issues. She wasn't afraid of the characters this past year either. I'm defintely doing the Dinner Package..most likely Mama Melrose, if not Brown Derby. Thanks for your help! We didn't get to see it last time and missed out on Brown Derby too, but managed to go on ToT-not again though!

Fantasmic is not to be missed. My DD was 4 when she saw it the first time and she was afraid of the dark. It is located outside in case you did not know, so it is not a closed in darkness. It was awesome...

It may get loud once or twice, but no reason not to see it. It is great, amazing, wonderful!!! I highly reccomend it. :goodvibes
