When is Fantasmic estimated to be back up and running? Will it not be until SWL is completed or will it open before then? We are planning on returning spring of 2017 and im really hoping it the river will be flowing again by then!

They said "about a year" and it went down mid January. Rumors are swirling that is will return around April 2017, but nothing confirmed.

The front half of ROA is still filled with water so visually it looks the same unlike last time it was drained and it was wall city all around NOS.

It would be nice if they were able to get it up sooner, but water is a tricky thing. We're thinking of a trip in late-Feb or early March, so it would be nice to have it back.

I remember reading somewhere that the river and island would be closed for about a year and to look for their return in spring 2017 but not to expect Fantasmic until summer. I wonder if any official updates have been published since the work began though, so hard to know what the current timetable is.
