Hello All!

We are headed back to DL in May (3-9 right now but are flexible) and are hoping to catch F! for the first time. I *thought* there was some discussion of F! being down, but I can't remember for how long and I can't get the darn search function to work.

So, DL vets with loads of experience, does F! run year round, or just in peak seasons? Also, is the dessert seating available this year--who do I call and when?

I swear, if I could figure out how to get the search to work I would answer these questions myself...I don't know what's going on. I've used it before, but for the last 2 weeks, nothing!

F! should be running on weekends in early May. If you want to schedule the dessert premium seating, you need to call disney dining 30 days prior to the date of your reservation.

I don't know about down time..maybe All Ears has it?
The dessert buffet, the last I heard is running, but just the riverside area as, obviously with the Gallery being converted for YOAMD, that is out. You need to call exactly 2 months from the day you want to see F. I don't say 60 days, because I noted that they really go by calendar days..ie..Fantasmic May 17, call March 17. I found this to be worth it just because you got a chair. I would call Disney right now and make sure of all the specifics.

The only reason why it wouldn't be running weekends is rain or wind so I don't know where you got the idea that it wouldn't be happening.

AmericanItGirl--as indicated in my original post I *thought* I had read something about F! not running for a bit this spring... Hence the question. Thankfully that is not the case.

You were not wrong. According to what has been posted on this board, Fantasmic! will be dark for something like six weeks or so, starting very soon, I believe, and going through to early March. So, it will be showing when you are there in early May. Have fun! It is my all time favorite DL experience!
