I have read through the great super thread, but I am curious if it's worth the price for reserved seating (2 ad. + 2kids +1baby). I am always happy to pay the extra money for great views (love the hubs credit card hahaha), as we won't be back to DL for a couple/few years :guilty: but we are already going to book WOC and are doing the Halloween Party.... should we spend the extra cash?? The dessert box looks amazing, but it likely would not get all eaten even with taking it back to the hotel.

Opinions?? :confused3

Thanks!!

oooops I have totally put this in the wrong section..... can somebody help me move to the DL in California section??

SORRY!!!!!!

d'oh! :surfweb:

To answer your question yes yes it is worth every penny. First in line gets first choice at seats. But if you dont want to wait just roll in and pick the back row because the back row seats have nothing behind them and you can stand up if you want. The desserts and drinks are also very nice. :goodvibes Fantasmic at DL is a must see as it a far superior to the WDW one. We went to WOC the week it opened and we booked the dinner package. We felt it was not worth it as it does to guarantee you a better seat it just filters you in the middle where you still are looking over peoples heads. Get a lunch box and stay on the top of the stairs in the middle and you will be able to see very good over the sea of heads. Bring something to sit on also. hth

We have done both WoC and Fantasmic as well. For WoC we did supper at Ariel's and then stood in the middle section, right against the walk way so there was no one at all in front of it. It was an incredible view. On the other side of the walk way is a step down to the next level, so there was no view obstruction at all. Barely got any spray from the fountains. Could not have been better!

Fantasmic we have done twice and would definitely do again. Once my husband waited in line two hours with baby sleeping in the stroller to get front row seats which was great, another time just went at the last minute and got seats in the last row. In the last row I could stand to take photos, so that was awesome as well.

The desserts (includes cheese, crackers and grapes as well) are huge, but we took them back to the room and ate them as snacks for a couple of days. Well worth it IMHO.

I like to have a good view though, and hate the pushing and shoving and nastiness of other guests all trying to get a prime spot. We have been squished and pushed too many times, so we just pay the money for the good seats now.
