Fantasmic with a scooter?

My mom now informed me that she won't be able to walk DL for 4 days with her sore hip.

I'm now trying to figure out how this will impact my touring. Is there a designated area at Fantasmic for scooters?

Any other tips or help is appreciated! I posted over in the DisAbillities Board but it doesn't get as much traffic as here. I'm kind of freeking out since we leave on Monday, but don't arrive at DL until Sept. 16th.

Touring will be a little more difficult, but you can do it. Are both you and your mom real familiar with Disneyland? What we find helpful is NOT sticking together trying to get from point A to point B. Example, we are on Main St, and decide to go to Jungle Cruise, we just agree to meet at X near JC. If the park is crowded, you will make it much faster if you dont try and stick together.

As for Fantasmic!, there are 2 designated areas. One is closer to the Mark Twain, the other by the Landing to Pirate's Lair. The center area, you can also park in the back part of it (where the rope would be.) I did find out this weekend, they won't let you park and sit in the area in front of the premium/VIP area.

Absolutely rent offsite! You'll save a ton of money, and you will have the scooter available at the hotel and to/from the parks. We are using Deckerts (714) 542-5607. They have a good reputation.

ECVs can be located at the rear of the sitting area. That is really your best bet.
