Is there special wheel chair seating at Fantasmic? Where is it in the auditorium? Is there a special line or do you just wait in the long line with everyone else? What if you do the dinner package? Is that different accessible seating? Your words of wisdom would be much appreciated.

Thanks.

There are a few accessible seats in the front and a goodly amount in the back. They will seat the sides before the one central section that is used to set up the reflective captioning in case there are deaf or hard of hearing wheelchair guests.
I have never used the dinner package, just get in line and go in. They will show you where to go.

We used the dinner package for Fantasmic last year. We did it for two reasons. We had two ladies with mobility problems that also did not like the thought of a lenghty wait in line. The other is we wanted to try the Brown Derby. It worked out very nicely. We had an enjoyable (if somewhat expensive) dinner. We shopped our way down the street and presented ourselves at the special gate for those who had the Fantasmic dinner package. This is located down by the service station near the main gate. You then present the pass that the waiter gives you (at dinner) at the gate. You take a nice bit of a walk or ride. The ladies used ECV's. This was a good idea since there is a bit of a hill to climb. The special Fantasmic dinner package seating was to the right hand of the theater. We parked their ECV's at the special handicapped area at the top of the theater and the rest of the people can sit next to them or very near on the benches. We thoroughly enjoyed the whole thing. Some people do not like sitting to the extreme right. But we arrived between 30 and 45 minutes prior to the show and had no difficulty in securing a good place to locate.

In our experience with hubby's ECV, we head for Fantasmic about 20 minutes prior to showtime and always get handicapped seating in the center section or just left or right of center. This was our experience even Easter Week.

That is plenty of time to get settled in, get a snack and watch the show. There is no need to wait in a long line for Fantasmic if you require handicapped seating. The only time you might have a problem is the most crowded times of year such as Christmas Week.

Actually, even though the wait for the show might be long, whether you are using a wheelchair, ecv or walking in, most of the wait is spent sitting in the stands waiting for the show to begin. They start seating about 1 to 1.5 hours before the show will begin (except for the later show when there is more than one show). Because there are only a certain number of spots for people with disabilities, they will take you to a spot as soon as they see you in line.
We have had the same experience as clkelley with still being able to get a spot even when arriving 10 minutes before it starts. (Although, in general, I'd suggest you get there earlier than that). The wait for the show to begin is not bad and there are bathrooms and snacks right in the stadium.
