We are visiting Hollywood Studios on 11/23, and there is a fantasmic showing at 630. The MK fireworks that night are at 8 and my son would love to watch them from the Poly beach. Would it be at all possible to watch Fantasmic, get to the busses, and get to Poly by a few mins before 8? Or is that totally not doable?

Possible? Yes, if you are near the back of the theater and are among the first to leave and then get lucky and are able to catch a bus right away. You might just make it for the start of the fireworks, it will all be a matter of timing and luck. But it's more likely you will get to the Poly in the middle/end of the fireworks. I'd decide on one or the other.

Its POSSIBLE but I certainly wouldn't want to feel rushed to try it.
Fantasmic is 29 minutes and it can take time just to get out of the theater.
Then the walk to the bus is at least a few minutes and if a bus is there and has enough room and is ready to go when you get on I think the ride is about 12 minutes.

I’ve never tried to leave Fantasmic early. If you found yourself at the back, or the end of a row, is that possible?

Beating the Fantasmic crowd to the bus stop is the only way I’d say you’d feasibly make it.

You could try a minivan or other ride share and you could shave off a little time... sounds stressful though.

Jump on the monorail and watch the fireworks from the Grand Floridian quick service restaurant.
I just discovered this location …perfect location perfect view of the Castle and plenty of seating no hassle .
I probably should keep that secret so don’t tell anyone !
Hope you arrive in time to watch the nightly electric water pageant too!

( The Poly is very restrictive . I hope your son is not disappointed if you do go there. )

You realize that would take EVEN MORE TIME that they already don't have?

We watch the fireworks from the Poly beach at least once every trip. They only restrict the viewing area on top holidays; we take Disney transportation there or park at the TTC typically.

Oops I just realized they are going to be at the HS . Don’t know why I was thinking EPCOT .
Sorry

And I wasn’t telling her don’t go to the Poly I was just giving her a warning and hoped her son would not be disappointed.
I guess I consider Thanksgiving a “top holiday week “ at the Poly !

Yes. People start leaving before the finale despite Disney’s request that people remain seated until the lights turn on. Be prepared to be run over though by the rush coming after you so you better be FAST.

I think you could make it if you can rideshare and you leave as soon as the show finishes. Are you staying at Poly though? Otherwise you’d have to rideshare to TTC (you can see them from there too).

MV would be fastest but trying to get one toward the end of F! is the equivalent of winning the lottery.
