Fantasmic seating (and Cinderellabration)

Do you get to choose where you sit when you queue for Fantasmic? I've always gone with the dinner package before and for once I'd like to have a good seat - preferably near the front right in the middle section. Is there a mad rush for the middle seats when everybody gets let in? I'm going on the 26th and I plan to go to the 10:00 showing (less people from what I've heard).

Also, is Cinderellabration still on for the holidays or has it been replaced with a Christmas show?

I believe Fantasmic is open seating, first come first served. I would imagine that the good seats go fast. We usually are late enough that we have to sit on the side. Cinderellabration is still going on in front of the castle (at least it was last Saturday!). Hope this helps!

Seating for Fantasmic! is first come, first served

This is our strategy for Fantasmic!: The closer you sit, the wetter you may get depending on the breeze. They use water spray and it does hit you. We sat in the front section last time about mid-way up and did get wet and it was a bit cool!!!! (this was in May)
Also, I always pick a row that has alot of people already in it because the CM's will eventually announce "everyone please move all the way to your left to make room for other guests" and then we usually end up right in the middle of the seating rows!!! We don't usually get there right when they start letting people in as most of them are interested in being right up front and right in the middle of the row, but I know the CM's will make them move left so it doesn't concern me. And, I don't want to be that close to the water.

Fantasmic is first come, first seated. When we were there last week there was only one showing of Fantasmic, and folks were lining up an hour and a half early. We got in line and took turns walking off to do other things. But we did go on in and sit down when they dropped the rope. We had about an hour wait but it wasn't bad...gave us a chance to rest our tire feet.

DDs 8 & 5 snacked and played right there. The wait was definately worth it!!!!!

Cinderellabration is still going on in front of the castle and is stunning! Try to get right in the middle but not too close. The street that curves in front of the castle is a perfect distance.

Thank you! You're all really helpful - especially FourFlans for the Cinderellabration tip and LMC for the warning about having to move to the left. And there I was thinking I could just wander in and sit wherever I want. I know what you mean about the spray. It was a really cold day when I watched it last year which didn't help at all! It's worth it though - Fantasmic is the best! Thanks again for all your help.

It is FC, FS but there are CM's there to direct the seating flow to the left. . .
