Which is better - call for Fantasmic tickets yourself or request guest services (vacation planning) to do it? I've heard that calling each morning can be a challenge. Any difference in results?

Also, silly question but where do they actually put the buffet for the balconey viewing? Is it outside with the seats (couldn't be much room) or inside the gallery? Just wondered.

Not sure if it is still the same, but the two times that I've used Vacation Planning, the CM's said that they are usually the first to put in reservations. This really helped us, since Hawaii is 3 hours behind and I would of had to call at 5:00am.

As for the buffet, it is on the balcony behind the seating...

They set up 21 chairs with small tables in between to put your drinks (there's really no room on the tables for snacks and drinks).

Thanks for the responses! We've seen Fantasmic many times at both WDW and DL. But since this will be an extra special celebration trip to DL, I thought this would be a nice surprise! It's seems kind of fun to be up on the balconey for the show!
