Two questions

We have a reservation (with package) at Brown Derby at 4:15. Fantasmic is at 9:00 that night. Our package says 1st Show, but I there is only one show on the calendar.

Putting together our touring plans / fast passes now.

Due to flights - we probably won't get to the park until 3:00.

First show of Beauty and the Beast after we arrive is at 4:00. It's 25 mins long. That's the last show on that day.
1. Can we make it from the show to Brown Derby within a reasonable time of our reservation, which is 4:15? Or do we forgo the show? I do not want to miss our reservation.

2. What time do we need to be at the venue to get our seats?

TIA!!

You will be at least 30 minutes late for your ADR and possibly more depending on how crowded the park is that day. It can take 10 to 15 minutes just to get out of the theater. You should forget the show.

We are at the entrance to Fantasmic 30 to 45 minutes before showtime, the earlier the better if you want your choice of seats.

If you sit at the top of the theatre for B & the B, and leave before the final note and the stampede, there's no reason that you can't make the ADR. But...like the PP said, if you are in the midst of the crowd, you're going to only go as fast as the mass moves.

Thanks.

This is even with the reservation with the dinner package?

Yes and even when we get there that early there are still people already seated. The dinner package entrance and the FP entrance are the same so there is always a crowd and it is a bit of a walk to get to the theater.

Thanks - and sorry - but one last question.
I thought that the F! package included reserved seating - not FP entrance.
With the F! package do you get reserved seating, or just FP entrance (without having a FP)?

FP and Dining Package go through the same entrance. Once you get to the theater there are different sections for FP and Dining Package. You still want to get there early as you want to be able to get a good seat in the reserved section.

Dining package seating is the exact middle section of the theater. The theater has 9 sections I think.

The sections are not very wide so you will have a straight center on view.

There are lots of rows, however. The earliest you get there the more choice in rows you'll have. 45 before you will have the choice of almost any row. 30 min will give very good choices. 20 min will be limited choices.

The CMs open the theater an hour or more before show-time.
Guests at that time will walk slowly through the very long pathways to the theater and file in to find a seat.
You might want to consider using a FP+ for Fantasmic!
What a FP+ for F! offers is more CHOICE in seating.

If you DO get a F! FP+, you can choose to sit in either the FP section (virtually the entire left half of the theater) or the Standby section (virtually the entire right half of the theater.)
So, whatever section has the better seating at the time you arrive, you can go there.
Without a FP, you can only choose a seat in the Standby section.

There is a very good chance that you can get a FP+ for F! as a 4th or 5th FP of the day because they issue SO MANY of them (enough to cover nearly the entire left half of the seating.) On many nights, it is possible that you can gat a FP+ for F! as you are walking to the theater.

As to when to arrive at the theater, I'd get to there 45-60 minutes before the show-time.
Even with a FP or Dining Pkg. reservation, don't wait too late.

On busy nights, the CMs can stop holding the reserved sections within 20-30 minutes before show-time, and turn over any available seats to waiting walk-in guests.

Not so much Reserved Seating but a Section Reserved for Dining Package holders but as Robo says, only until a certain time - then they let anyone sit .... so I would be early.

Yes you enter with FP+. The last few times we went with FP+ they did not let us go right towards SB. They had a blockade of CMs sending us to the left SO if you are at the back end of the FP+ window you ended up way left.
