Fantasmic question??

Did anyone go to Fantasmic this past Sunday? Did you find it difficult to see the laser pictures? Alot of the images were difficult to make out. Is it always like that? Or was it due to the earlier rain storm?

I've seen Fantasmic many times, and I've noticed that sometimes they are a little more clear than other times, but I'm not sure exactly why. My guess is it has to do with the angle from which you are viewing. They seem to be a little more clear to me if I am viewing them straight on. Just my observations, though.

That's what confused me. We were sitting "straight on" and thought the picutres were fuzzy. I think it could have been that it rained prior to the show. The rain stopped at 8:20.

splashfamily - we were there, too !- sat in the rain for almost an hour having a soggy little picnic, but we had fun !! We were also sitting dead center, about 3/4 of the way up - best view I've ever had!! Yes, I think it was the earlier rain and the mist from it that made the pics a little blurry - I think the dense humidity is also what held the smoke from the explosions and seemed to keep it from clearing away as quickly as usual. Did you notice the absence of Ariel's float? They played her song, but only 2 floats went by instead of 3! We were just so happy that the rain stopped minutes before the show and that we had such a great view - my sister and my little nephew (6) had never seen it before (their 1st night in WDW !) - he declared it his "favorite thing, so far!" - real 'magic moments' for me just watching him enjoy this show so much !!!

bjakmom ~ I didn't even notice the missing float. There was so much going on that I was trying to concentrate on one thing at a time.

To be honest with you, I was a bit disappointed because of the laser show. I spent so much time trying to figure out what the pictures were I was getiing frustratred. However, it was still amazing!

I really want to see it again though. Do you think it matters where you sit? Seems like you had very good seating.
I wish the rain would have stopped a bit early though.

The preshow wave stuff was alot of fun!
