OK do you think this will work?
I have an ADR for California Grill on 9/23 at 5:00 for my 40th Birthday dinner. I had originally planned to head to DTD for the night after dinner (since it's my birthday dh can't complain about just wandering around) but it ended up being the only night I could schedule the night vision safari for my animal loving DD.
If we head over to DHS for Fantasmic after dinner instead do you think we would have any problem making it back to AKL for the 9:45 check in?
I am thinking taking a cab might be our best option.

For 9/23 Fantasmic starts at 8pm. You'll have more than enough time to watch it and then make it to AKL by 9:45.

F! is 30 minutes long so by about 8:45ish, you should be out of the park. It isn't too far of a drive to AKL. Maybe 10-15 min. So you should be able to get there easily 30 min ahead of time

If you really want to beat the crowds. Then for Fantasmic either sit near the top of the arena, or get up and start heading out 2-3 minutes before it ends. As long as you're near the top of the arena by the time it ends, you'll beat the crowd and won't have to slowly leave. We do this every time and it works great. Granted we're watching the finale as we're walking out..but I'd rather watch it while walking to beat the crowd.

Keep an eye on F! times though. It'll probably be set to just one showing at 8pm. But it could always change, so keep tabs on it right before the trip

You can certainly make it from Contemporary to Fantasmic to Animal Kingdom Lodge, but I wouldn't want to try to do it without a car, or a cab in your case.

Thanks!! We won't have a car on property so I think we will head straight for the cabs when Fantasmic lets out.
