If youre going when crowds are high, chances are 30 mins wont get you a seat, and during not so busy times it might get you a seat, but might not be a good one (like off to the side or behing a post). We normally go an hour before the show starts, grab a seat in the middle of the center section (too close and you get sprayed and feel the heat of the flames). We eat a big late lunch (avoids the lunch rush), so while we wait we grab a light bite from one of the vendors in the theater. We did the dinner package the first time. While it was nice not to have to sit around and wait, the rsvp seats are to the far right of the stage and we missed some of the attractions since they didnt light up until closer to the center.
