fantasmic ps seating

We are considering ps for fantasmic as we have 4 yr old so want to avoid waiting in line. I have seen somewhere on this sight that view may be not that good from ps seats.
Has anyone done this ? should we wait in line or go for ps ?

we always do the fantasmic dinner package when at mgm...it really beats having to wait in line to get into the stadium...

regarding the seats...they are generally to the right of center and you actually enter from "backstage"...while we did get a chance to sit in the center section of the stadium (prior to them offering the package), i would not say that the seats that are offered as part of the package are any worse then the ones that you can get if you wait in line for upwards of an hour...

besides, i look at it this way...you have to eat dinner anyway...why not sit down, enjoy your meal and then wander into the stadium when you are ready???

How good the seats are has been a variable for us. Every time we have used the PS seating it has been well to the right of center and has ranged from front row to back row. On one rainy night they apparently forgot or were unable to hold any seats for the late comers but the performance was cancelled anyway so we really didn't miss anything.

On balance it is a great idea, but make your PS plans as early as possible or you could end up having dinner at 3:00 in the afternoon.

I don't know if 'official' hours have been announced, but I read somewhere that Fantasmic is at 6 o'clock in early December when we'll be there. Are the dinner packages available at that time, and if so, how early do you have to eat?

We just did this Thursday the 28th and I would def. do it again. Much better than waiting for Fantasmic for an hour! I like the show but not that much! We did Hollywood and Vine and the seats were to the right of center. We got there 1/2 an hour ahead and got the 3rd row. I have sat in the center and felt I saw just as well in these seats. I will never wait for Fantasmic! again after doing this!

Just booked FDP for December 1st. Given choice of times 4:00 to 5:20. I chose Mama Melrose's (figure it's the healthiest thing my kids willeat at DW!) for 4:20 because we want to see stars and cars, still have time to eat, and get there about 30 minutes before to get seated. The other two restaurants are closer--I understand that MM is a hike! (Probably better so Ican burn off some of the pizza and penne a la vodka I plan to eat )

Can anyone tell me where the electric wheelchair section of the reserved priority seating Fantasmic package is in relation to the other seating?

The wheechair seating is the back row of the auditorium. There are spots for wheelchairs and then a few seats next to them. The row ahead of the wheelchairs are reserved for the other people in the party.
I don't think they have specific wheelchair seats reserved for the Fantasmic dinner package; you just would end up in the regualr wheelchair seats. Make sure to let them know when you make your PS that you will have a wheelchair so that they save you a wheelchair spot.

We have sat (in the back row) of every section from the far right, dead center to the far left. My personal opinion is that there are no really bad seats. The stage is a semicirle with a "mountain" set in the middle. There is a "river that goes around the stage between the stage and the audience. The seating area is a semicircle that follows the stage. During the show, some of the action takes place on the stage, some on boats in the water and some on large water screens. The action moves to all parts of the stage, so there is not one area where you will see absolurely everything. Everyone gets an equal chance to see the boats as they come onstage on one side and travel around the stage to go off stage on the opposite side. There are 3 water screens, so each area of the auditorium gets an equal chance to see those.
