Ok, I haven't decided... I have ressies for WCC, but I'm not sure about the food. I'm thinking in changing it for the Fantasmic Dinner Package at Mama Rosa's, but I'll be going in September so maybe it's not worth it and lines maybe small? not waiting one hour in line? I'm not crazy about waiting that long!
I've heard mixed comments on both restaurants, my kids are DD7 and DS4, and DH is there too.
BTW, I'm on the DDP.
Thanks for your comments!

I'm a huge fan of Mama Melrose. We eat there whether we are doing hte package or not.

I've never been to WCC though. The antics would annoy me too much. ;)

I personally think the Fantasmic package is overrated. I get great seats to view w/out spending the extra $ and going in too early. I'd do WCC.

We did both of these earlier this month. We LOVED our meal at Mama Melrose. The food, atmosphere, and service were all very nice, and it was great not to have to wait so long for a seat at Fantasmic. I realize we were there during a busy time, but my kids would have not wanted to wait as long as we'd have to wait for the show (which they all liked a lot, by the way).

Whispering Canyon was mediocre. I posted a review about this on the review board because I was disappointed in both food and atmosphere this time--not nearly as much fun as when we visited before.

I'm not sure where you're staying, either, but if you're not at the WL, you have to make a special trip over to the WL which takes quite a while and can be a hassle with little ones. With Mama Melrose, you're already in the park.

I'll be at ASMo, but DH really wants to go to WL, he's not much into planning but he told me he wanted only to 1) dine at AK (we're doing Boma) 2) dine at Akershus (already have ADR's) and 3) go to WL. Whatever I plan in between, he couldn't care less, I can do whatever I want. So, if he wants WL, I was thinking that instead of doing WCC we'll just dine at the Roaring Fork and use our TS for something else....
That particulary day we'll go to the Premium Outlets and do some resort tour in the afternoon, with the dinner time at WL and then head to MK to see Electric Pageant and then Wishes... sounds like a plain, ain't it?
